The Ballroom, Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London SW1
Welcome to the first Russian Art Fair London Held in the stunning ballroom of the Jumeirah Carlton Tower in fashionable Knightsbridge, just a few yards from the glittering designer shops of Sloane Street, the Russian Art Fair is poised to attract a wealth of A1 clientele.
The Fair has been carefully timed to take advantage of the overwhelming interest in Russian Art during the first week of June 2009, when the prime auction houses of Sotheby's, Christie's, Bonhams and Macdougall's all hold major sales of Russian Art. These events not only attract huge numbers of overseas collectors and dealers, but have established London as the world's focal point for Russian treasures.
The Russian Art Fair will be open to dealers of the highest-quality Russian paintings, icons, jewellery, silver, porcelain and furniture as well a strictly-limited number of selected companies offering items such as yacht brokerage, interior design, diamonds and jewels.
The Fair will open with a Champagne Charity Gala in aid of The Children's Fire and Burns Trust incorporating Friends of Russian Children. Patron: HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO. The event will be attended by the Russian Ambassador – His Excellency Yury Fedotov – VIPs and celebrity clientele.
